 There are many obvious emergency situations that PI 2 was designed to handle. However, the ability of PI 2 help you to be on top of things in the most unforeseen situations is what makes it the most valuable tool.
During the last three years of PI marketing, GICSOFT was confronted with the following common situations where our portable solution made a difference for school and district users. We would like to give you some vivid examples of how School and District users utilize mobile functionality.
School Users:

Let's begin by stating that various school personnel can have access to school information if there is no computer access in the room. PI 2 puts the power of a pc running an SIS onto your mobile device, in your hand, wherever you go. |

Teachers and administrators can have access to emergency contacts and medical alerts while going on a field trip, in the gym, recess, during outdoor events, after school events, and more. This simply can mean life or death in certain situations and also helps school personnel to be more responsive. For example, if an accident happened on the football field, then the principal or even coach carrying emergency data on their handheld device could notify parents or guardians of an accident, pull up the information as to what hospital should be contacted to handle the situation and tell medical staff of immunization and medical alerts for the student to avoid potential disasters.

Mobility gives school officials like administrators, resource officers, and school monitors the ability to be more efficient by having access to student schedules, photos, and discipline records at their finger tips while walking around school hallways. Bus drivers and administrators can now have access to transportation data that can be useful in the following situations: prevent children boarding the incorrect bus, attendance record notifies bus driver that the child is out of school for the week or is being picked up by family members, medical alerts in case of seizures, allergies and other urgent health emergencies.

Administrators can rapidly identify transportation information at the point of action. For example, principal is attending the bus boarding area and finds a child who is distraught and lost. The principal can solve this situation by pulling up the transportation schedule for the student and escort the student to the correct bus or car without leaving the rest of the students unattended, therefore increasing his involvement and safety.
