  • Data on Handheld device is stored in the Encrypted Database
  • Assess to Handheld Application is Password Protected
  • Login Information is not stored on the PDA device
  • Users can only synchronize data if their account is active on the server
  • Administrator can specify how long data can be stored on PDA device before it is automatically erased from PDA database
  • System can automatically erase data from handheld after preset amount of consecutive incorrect logins
  • If device is disabled by Administrator on the server during next attempt to pull data, then all information will be erased

PI 2.0 is a very robust system that can recognize if data has been changed. Therefore, it allows users to synchronize data that has been changed since the last synchronization. In turn it makes for much faster data synchronization. For example, first synchronization of a school data for a 1000 students may take about 20 seconds where next synchronization may take less than 2 seconds.
